Each and every year I set myself up for failure!
I say, "I am going to do Project 365" or, "I am going to keep my Logbook", or even, "I am going to exercise everyday"... blah, blah, blah... and every year, I don't hold up my end of the baragin for one reason or another... so this year I decided not to make any promises... but I did (and have kept it up for 12 days) decide (not promise) to make a stab at Project 365, yet again. There is something intriguing to me about taking a picture everyday of the bits and pieces of my life. So far, I it has been really easy. I have choosen something that is salient in the day or something I really want to remember. It has helped that we have now had 3 snow days! :)
Here are theHarwick's first 6 days of 2011 - (the rest are still stuck on the camera!)
Jan 1, 2011 - My new calendar and my Logbook (created with the Jan Nook kit)
If you don't know about the Log Your Memory log books, you should click the link and check it out!
I purchased one last year and was a drop out, but this year I have a plan! I will be printing out the guts and creating a seperate book for each month (finally, putting to use my lonely Bind-it-All)
Jan 2, 2011 - Me, capturing memories, that is what this project is all about, right?
Jan 3, 2011 - our last lazy Sunday before the end of Christmas break! This is Brody and his favorite Christmas present from Santa, the Imaginex fortress!
Jan 4, 2011 - Back to school - ugh!
Jan 5, 2011 - Sleeping beauty (really, she is more like the sleeping giant)
Jan 6, 2011 - Excuse me, is that a caterpillar on your upper lip?
I found a moustache machine vending machine and created a monster! Watch for more moustache pictures, as they bought $6.00 worth! :) - Hailey wore this to school with a hat and claimed that she was a "new student". She is such a silly girl! They definately broke the mold when they made her!
Ok, so there it is, the first 6 days in a nutshell! - I make no promises about the longevity of my Project 365 - it might become a Project 30 - but I have intentions on continuing the journey, as 2011 promises to be an exciting year for the Harwick family! (we are cooking up some changes and fun!)
