Moving, Back to Work, Awesome Chat!

Well, we are still slowly unpacking boxes and putting stuff away in our new house! ugh! I have NO idea how we lived in half this space, CRAZY I tell you! Now I need more storage options.. more shelves, I might need more stuff to put on them (ok, maybe not, but I do like to shop!). 

Despite not being finished moving, Spring Break has come to an end and I had to return to work today! ugh! SO NOT READY! It was ok, but LONG!

She also authored a special issue of Creating Keepsakes, on newsstands April 10, called Computer Tricks for Scrapbookers.

Home Sweet Home

We have officially moved!

We closed on the house on Friday, April 13th and began moving on Saturday. As of today we are about 90% moved into the new house! I have to say that I have NO idea how we lived in less space! The house is sprawling! You literally cannot hear a peep from one end to the other! (which has come in handy to ignore the girls' fighting!- ha ha!)

I know what you really want are pics so here they are:

I took them the day of the walk-through so it is empty. I will post more once we get the mess cleaned up and put away!

Off to the right from the front door. This is the playroom/scrap space.

The is the eat-in kitchen. The actual kitchen (which Iapparently did not take a picture of, is to the right) We are hoping to tile this area.. not sure why someone puts carpet under their kitchen table! Too messy with little kids!

This is the great room off of the kitchen. The laundry room is attached to this room (once again, no picture.. but it's just a laundry room, but a real room! not my washer and dryer sitting in my kitchen!

What do I have to share?

Hmm.. Seems that life has been going at lightning speed these days.  So much has happened in such a short time! Here's what I have to share:

1. We finally found a house and the loan is processing. We are only waiting on the closing date now and should be moving toward the end of the month! I am soooooooo looking forward to more space, less clutter and a BIG backyard. I would share photos but they already took down the MLS listing! :-(

2. Hailey turned 5! Wow, time has really flown! We did a family celebration complete with presents and ice cream cake! Grandma Candy sent her a Target "credit card" (Hailey is CRAZY about Target) so now she is set to go shopping! She also procured some new Littlest Pet Shop, bottle pop Girls, a scooter and some new duds!

3. Easter is coming! - Last weekend the base had a Kids Spring Festival. It was HOT and Aaron was at a funeral but I geared up with some friends and took the kids. They had face painting, bounce house, slides, balloons, games and an Easter Egg hunt. The kids had fun and Hannah won two prizes in her eggs!  

4. Scrapwise - I am busy at Bliss! If you haven't stopped over there you should! We are gearing up for the Blissful Mail Chain, the Color Swap and there is an Easter Challenge this weekend! Andrea has been busy adding new, fun stuff to the store (think Queen and Co, HS, CI and more!) and the DT produced a rockin' gallery! We are in the process of planning NSD activities on the message board forum, you won't want to miss that!

Oh and I*almost* forgot! We will be having Jessica Sprague join us on April 25th for a Chat and Prima is hosting the Manufacturer Challenge this month! Hurry up and get you entries in before midnight on April 25th! You can check out the information and prizes at www.scrappersbliss.com!
