Hey everyone!
I don't usually post a ton of scrappy projects here because I do that all over the web, but Halloween (which is one of my favorite holidays!) is coming and Reminisce is having an awesome DT contest, so I thought I would share my creations!
I used the wickedly fun "Scare Tactics" line to make a fun Halloween countdown calendar!
I started with a magnetic dry erase board I found at Target and covered it with the Spider Swarm paper and then made a black border around the edge. Then I used the Bat Crush, Angry Jack, Verbal Creep and Witch Way to make chipboard letters for the word "Halloween". I cut the word "day", the bat, the witch and the spider web from my Wishblade from files I purchased at The Cutter's Market . I wrapped the fake spider web around the entire project to the back to create a creepy effect and then added the fake spiders and button and bling border! The bats border is by Queen and Co and the glitter letters are AC Roller Rink.
My daughter's and I created the first countdown number together. We plan on making one each day until Halloween, it is a great way to get them involved in my craft! The number is attached by a magnet and can be changed each day!
I also want to share a birthday layout I created using the "Boys Will Be Boys" line. This is an older layout, but one of my favorites!
