So Much to Say!

Hello Readers!

I am not going to make any excuses for my absence... I will just say, life is BUSY! Work, kids and play keep me very busy week to week! I do have lots of updates to share today though!

Aaron has returned to his routine in Afghanistan. I think we have about 60 days until his return! It has been a very LONG road and I will be grateful to have him back home to assist and deflect! For those of you following his journey from Navy door gunner to Army Apache pilot, he just passed a gunnery test and this week has a "pilot in command" test - LMAO!  I honestly cannot believe they would put him in COMMAND of this -  better him than me, that is all I can say! Good Luck Honey!

I have all kinds of scrappy goodness to share!

First of all, while doing some research on kit clubs I stumbled upon, what I think could be a well kept secret (or I live in a dim closet and just didn't know) -  My Scrapbook Nook is an awesome kit club with an amazingly talented Design Team and an ubber friendly forum! As my luck would have it, my research led me to find out that they were holding a Design Team call.... so, I applied...... and then this morning, there was a big *thud* as I hit the floor when I found out I made the top 25! Whoot! Whoot!

Happy New Year!!!

Once again I have so much to catch up on!

We were lucky enough to have Aaron return for R&R on December 15th and stay through Christmas.. We had a ton of fun shopping, eating out, bowling, watching movies and just spending time as a family! I have some pictures but they are still stuck in the camera (yes, I am lazy!) so I will share them later.

2010 is going to be a good year, I can feel it! I have so many big plans, hopes and dreams.....

I have once again started my Project 365 (we'll see how far I get... LOL!); I am investigating Project 12 and making diet plans (I just need ONE more piece of fudge! LOL!). I also made a neat little list of "intentions"...

Every year I enjoy reading Ali Edwards' blog as she chooses, discovers, explores and lives her One Little Word... This year I believe she chose the word "Story".... as I read my list of "intentions", I realized that most of my list had a common thread... that of connecting (or {re} connecting) with things and people, including myself... so this year I have decided to brave up and choose my own word -
